Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alexandre Amaral started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Alexandre Amaral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. OLIMPIA SP's Amadeu Massa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 6th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Lauro Pontes in the 8th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Luca Espinar. Milagros Cabal kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, OLIMPIA SP's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Sancho came free, but Amadeu Massa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 18 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Valentín Carvallo. The supporters of Honduras booed when OLIMPIA SP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antônio Secco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute of the match Emanuel Ocampo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amadeu Massa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Amadeu Massa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 25th minute of play. Antônio Secco charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antônio Secco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th match minute, OLIMPIA SP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antônio Secco to maneuver through the defense. Sebastian Villa might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amadeu Massa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastian Villa ran back to his position shaking his head. Antônio Secco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, OLIMPIA SP's Lauro Pontes got a free kick in the 35th minute. 38 minutes into the game, Esteban Carvallo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Honduras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave OLIMPIA SP the free kick. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Esteban Carvallo got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 45th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeu Massa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Navarro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alexandre Amaral went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Espiga made a kick off. Amadeu Massa was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Moises Tafalla capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Moises Tafalla really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. The supporters of Honduras booed when OLIMPIA SP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Paulo da Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. A throw-in in the 65th minute of the game was made by Lauro Pontes with Alexandre Amaral as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 69 played minutes OLIMPIA SP got a freekick which was hit by Zé Paulo da Fonseca. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Amaral in the 73rd minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Milagros Cabal got a free kick in the 78th minute. If Moises Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honduras's Sebastian Villa quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lauro Pontes, made in the 86th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amadeu Massa saved OLIMPIA SP from getting behind. Alexandre Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The OLIMPIA SP players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
