Mexico's Joel Gaona couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 14th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Bollpojkarnas BK. 17 minutes into the match, Bollpojkarnas BK's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but Tage Collin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 22nd minute. Anatoliy Shestakov took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Bollpojkarnas BK's Tage Collin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Bollpojkarnas BK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mexico's Joel Gaona was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tage Collin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig Asklöv in the 43rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karl-Axel Fredriksson during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th match minute, Bollpojkarnas BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Axel Fredriksson to maneuver through the defense. Joel Gaona struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anatoliy Shestakov to make the kick off. At last the ball reached Lautaro Mancebo at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Bollpojkarnas BK. 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 84th minute of play forced Bollpojkarnas BK's goalkeeper Tage Collin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mexico walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
