Isidoro Sarmiento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 11 minutes, Eşref Tandoğan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ribera and the Panama players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ribera's Eşref Tandoğan got a free kick in the 11th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Alex Cambeiro notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Ribera's Alessandro Del Bello. Alessandro Del Bello was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 15th minute Isidoro Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro Del Bello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16thth minute of the game Abraham Alguacil who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ribera's Alessandro Del Bello was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Isidoro Sarmiento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro Del Bello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute Panama were awarded a corner. Abraham Alguacil went to the cornerflag to take it. After 32 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Jose Carita. Matthew Garrido kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. A collision led to Ribera getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Baltasar Pio hit a great ball. Isidoro Sarmiento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Alessandro Del Bello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Edmondo Braccia came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Ribera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmondo Braccia couldn't finish the play. Angelo Cavanna hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Ribera's Alessandro Del Bello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 44th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ribera's Hans Wery got a free kick in the 46th minute. After the first half Panama were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Alessandro Del Bello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Ribera's Alessandro Del Bello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute Isidoro Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro Del Bello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th match minute, Ribera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eşref Tandoğan to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute of the match, Abraham Alguacil got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alessandro Del Bello was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Wery in the 69th minute of play. Hans Wery's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hans Wery helped the player get up and apologised. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ribera's Hans Wery. But to his dismay, Hans Wery quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Cosimo Onori hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 79th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthew Garrido to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Miguel Miralles took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Alessandro Del Bello to make any attempt to save it. Abraham Alguacil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Alessandro Del Bello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isidoro Sarmiento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Alessandro Del Bello made a huge save. Baltasar Pio's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baltasar Pio helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ribera's Baltasar Pio got a free kick in the 94th minute. When the match was over Panama could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ribera throughout the match.
