Lukas Lupidana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 8th minute of the match. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johnny Ennegren, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Lukas Lupidana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Lukas Lupidana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, Salem Hotspurs FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Lukas Lupidana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Per-Erik Lagerberg ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Salem Hotspurs FC's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lukas Lupidana came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 33rd minute of play forced Salem Hotspurs FC's goalkeeper Lukas Lupidana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lukas Lupidana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 37th minute of play forced Salem Hotspurs FC's goalkeeper Lukas Lupidana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on Salem Hotspurs FC's corner Jens-Erik Mager fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. Alfred Stolpe kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After 45 minutes, Jan-Erik Almkvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Salem Hotspurs FC and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johnny Ennegren in the 52nd minute of play. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Lukas Lupidana made a huge save. In the 57th minute Johnny Ennegren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Lukas Lupidana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
