They were losing 0-1.

When Ás Ronaldo fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Madison's protests and gave Ás Ronaldo a yellow card for diving instead. The Madison supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mexico's performance. The match ended with a win for Mexico.
