The referee ignored Knights Templar's protests and gave Albert Merodiyski a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th minute, Albert Merodiyski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bozhin Palakarchev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 15th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Sava Dodov came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Sava Dodov put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. In the 28th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bozhin Palakarchev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 30 minutes, Tomas Illescas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Knights Templar players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. A hard shot 33 in the game by Zlatko Stumbov from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. After having played for 34 minutes, Roch Fedosz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Knights Templar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roch Fedosz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Albert Merodiyski made in the 44th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Zlatko Stumbov however managed to control. In the 46th minute of the match, Zlatko Stumbov got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jonathan Ferrant was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 51st minute Sava Dodov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zlatko Stumbov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rungrueng Rau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Zlatko Stumbov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Zlatko Stumbov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Knights Templar's supporters rose to their feet, but Zlatko Stumbov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 71 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Zlatko Stumbov came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 80 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Venezuela! When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Tomas Illescas took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Bozhin Palakarchev to make any attempt to save it. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rungrueng Rau, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Bozhin Palakarchev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 89th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Salvador Gisbert in the 90th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Knights Templar's Hristiyan Tzukev. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Knights Templar fully deserved thier win.
