Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Axel Montenegro charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Axel Montenegro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gocha Head Son in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. After 4th play minutes Gocha Head Son shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Pedro Manzanares and just under the crossbar into goal. Luís Guilherme de Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. After 8 minutes, Kaur Laving mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Torreão OFF and the Colombia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gocha Head Son in the 12th minute of play. A hard, long distance shot from Duarte Coelho flew over the goal. Colombia's Antonio Indiano quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Luciano Mineiro, made in the 21st minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Orlando Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colombia's supporters rose to their feet, but Orlando Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zézinho Freitas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Gocha Head Son had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gocha Head Son in the 28th minute of play. Zézinho Freitas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Mastache in the 29th minute of play. Gocha Head Son's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. After 38 minutes Colombia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kaur Laving who took care of the corner kick. 40 minutes into the match, Santino Seco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zézinho Freitas. Torreão OFF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Santino Seco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Torreão OFF's Sebastião Maranhense slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pedro Manzanares. That made the score 2-1 after 45 minutes of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abram Sarmiento made a kick off. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gocha Head Son in the 58th minute of the match. Abram Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zézinho Freitas having to interfere. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 68th minute, Gocha Head Son got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. A sloppy throw-in by Ján Griščík in the 72nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Colombia's Antonio Indiano. Zézinho Freitas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abram Secada's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abram Secada got free with Zézinho Freitas in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zézinho Freitas was a little too slow when Abram Secada got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 3-2. 81 minutes into the match, Torreão OFF's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Mastache came free, but Zézinho Freitas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zézinho Freitas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santino Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the game, Torreão OFF's Gocha Head Son nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ignacio Mastache got free with Zézinho Freitas in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Torreão OFF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
