Jax Williamson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cai Yuan Yuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jax Williamson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aras Görkem Kaymaz in the 11th minute. Canada's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Cai Yuan Yuan scored to the left of an out of position Jax Williamson, making the score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Dixon in the 16th minute of play forced MZ Fénix's goalkeeper Pankracy Zajonc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pankracy Zajonc stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan Dixon's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 17th minute Jan Dixon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Zajonc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cai Yuan Yuan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jax Williamson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. The supporters of Canada booed when MZ Fénix was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermegildo Izaguirre didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, MZ Fénix's Cai Yuan Yuan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jax Williamson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. MZ Fénix's Pankracy Zajonc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Dixon in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Richard Mccarthy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Canada fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Pankracy Zajonc stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rohan Watson's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. If Koby Wright had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Canada getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Eric Hill hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Canada's goalkeeper Jax Williamson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Koby Wright in the 53rd minute of play forced MZ Fénix's goalkeeper Pankracy Zajonc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Cai Yuan Yuan notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Canada's Jax Williamson. Jax Williamson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pankracy Zajonc made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Rohan Watson sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 64 minutes, Pankracy Zajonc successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Pankracy Zajonc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Edwards in the 68th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, MZ Fénix's Cai Yuan Yuan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jax Williamson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Canada made a substitution. Theo Burton replaced Rohan Watson. If Jan Dixon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Edwards in the 87th minute of play forced MZ Fénix's goalkeeper Pankracy Zajonc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cai Yuan Yuan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 94 minutes of play, Canada's Theo Burton made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pankracy Zajonc was left in no man's land by his defense there!
