Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Martín Palermo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 5 played minutes Metal Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Martín Palermo. Timoteo Gorosti blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. After 10 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. Martín Palermo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonatan Dantae in the 31st minute of play. In the 34th minute of the game Haroldo Nayely made a throw-in which Timoteo Gorosti played forward. Martín Palermo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. 40 minutes in the game Haroldo Nayely did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Gervasio Favila. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Daniel Păvăloae tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Metal Juniors's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jonatan Dantae, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Jonatan Dantae came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. Nicolas Napier replaced Martín Palermo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolas Napier in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. In the 74th minute Nicolas Napier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Metal Juniors's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Păvăloae came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Napier in the 81st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonatan Dantae, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 84 minutes, Nicolas Napier made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Metal Juniors's Daniel Păvăloae played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 87th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Nicolas Napier notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Reinaldo Castro hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Metal Juniors were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
