Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 6th minute of play forced Seagulls's goalkeeper Aurelio Rexino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute of the match Milosz Zgonina shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 9 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aurelio Rexino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nildo Matos in the 14th minute of play. After 16 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ben Rensenbrink who took care of the corner kick. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nildo Matos, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. When Marco Mook came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Seagulls fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Mook couldn't finish the play. 22 minutes into the match, Seagulls's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Aurelio Rexino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Daniel Zorita put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Aurelio Rexino. 29 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Mook came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nildo Matos in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Aurelio Rexino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Marco Mook reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julio Vera. The goal made the score 1-2. The Seagulls players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nildo Matos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Seagulls's Aurelio Rexino got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nildo Matos in the 56th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Seagulls's Ben Rensenbrink got a free kick in the 60th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Seagulls's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Aurelio Rexino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camilo Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aurelio Rexino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Aurelio Rexino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 67th minute. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Mook in the 68th minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Mook, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Aurelio Rexino in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 84th match minute, Seagulls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milosz Zgonina to maneuver through the defense. Dariusz Rekawiczka kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Antonio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Felix Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Nildo Matos sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
