Teodoro Jacinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by São Paulo da Floresta's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. São Paulo da Floresta's Teodoro Jacinto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save São Paulo da Floresta from getting a goal against them. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Teodoro Jacinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than São Paulo da Floresta.
