Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The Mexico fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ruben Barajas kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Iemberge, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute Fred Iemberge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 16th minute of play forced Oscar Mulero's goalkeeper Evstati Shushev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Fred Iemberge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Iemberge came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oscar Mulero's Fred Iemberge was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dante Lacasa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 33 minutes into the match, Qarabulud La Forgia dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dante Lacasa, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 38th minute of play forced Oscar Mulero's goalkeeper Evstati Shushev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evstati Shushev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Evstati Shushev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 44th minute of play. Oscar Mulero's Evstati Shushev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 45th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fred Iemberge to strike the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Evstati Shushev successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Fred Iemberge took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 59th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evstati Shushev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evstati Shushev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 61st minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Iemberge came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Oscar Mulero's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Evstati Shushev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Alberto Tafalla took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Evstati Shushev to make any attempt to save it. Oscar Mulero made a substitution. Efrain Merexildo replaced Fred Iemberge. Oscar Mulero's Jacky Chan was substituted for Eneto Albizua. In the 74th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evstati Shushev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luca Zorita hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After having played for 80 minutes, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Tafalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 81st minute of play forced Oscar Mulero's goalkeeper Evstati Shushev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evstati Shushev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 88th minute of the match. Oscar Mulero's David Zamora got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mexico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
