Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hugo Alcântara took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Válbson Paiva sent off a good shot on target. In the 13th minute, Tomas Illescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Válbson Paiva came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gelu Lepuș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 20th minute of play. Válbson Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 30 minutes into the match, Hugo Alcântara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hugo Alcântara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 38th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gelu Lepuș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Cadu Team's Hugo Alcântara dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After a rather tough play, Cadu Team's Ciro Sanches got a free kick in the 45th minute. Gelu Lepuș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Cadu Team's Gelu Lepuș proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Cadu Team from getting a goal against them. After having played for 52 minutes, Válbson Paiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cadu Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Válbson Paiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Joshua Secada fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Joshua Secada a yellow card for diving instead. In the 55th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joshua Secada to maneuver through the defense. 57 minutes in the game Guillermo Mariano did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Tomas Illescas. With a little luck, Cadu Team's Gelu Lepuș got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. When Válbson Paiva came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Cadu Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Válbson Paiva couldn't finish the play. Cadu Team's Teodoro Lago was substituted for Renato Barral. Gelu Lepuș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 86th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute Hugo Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Many of Venezuela's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Venezuela may have spent more time on the ball, but Cadu Team were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
