In the 20th minute Kevin Mastache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Frankfurter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, AQUILES's Pedro Manzanares threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Natalio Guter, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Frank Frankfurter came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Colombia's Axel Montenegro. But to his dismay, Axel Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 28 minutes into the game, Abram Sarmiento cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Frank Frankfurter was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natalio Guter in the 31st minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Natalio Guter came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the AQUILES fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Natalio Guter couldn't finish the play. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Natalio Guter went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After 43 minutes of play, AQUILES's Natalio Guter made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kay Izquierdoz's late challenge caught a Colombia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kay Izquierdoz helped the player get up and apologised.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abram Sarmiento was the one to do the kick off. Prospero Fix might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Prospero Fix ran back to his position shaking his head. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prospero Fix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led Colombia's Kevin Mastache to fire away a dangerous shot which Frank Frankfurter despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Joshua Garrido kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Prospero Fix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prospero Fix in the 91st minute of play. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prospero Fix, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Generoso Elodio in the 93rd minute of play. Frank Frankfurter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Secada in the 96th minute of the match. AQUILES were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Colombia for a fine match.
