Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal and Natalio Centenales tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 75th minute of play forced Família Ressaca MZ's goalkeeper João Paulo Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg João Paulo Silva managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Ronaldinho do Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Felipe Ros hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Família Ressaca MZ had won after a very even match.
