Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Grant Danes got the match started through his kick off. After 9 minutes of play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Agustin Rossi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 19th minute of play forced Ombu's goalkeeper Agustin Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Valentin Lidon tried to sneak it across the goal line. 37 minutes in the game Primitivo Andino did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Felix Montenegro. After having played for 38 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 41st minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Ombu's Frans Lundgren was substituted for Valentin Lidon. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Ombu's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jeremias Ugaitz in the 59th minute. The corner led Ombu's Jeremias Ugaitz to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The referee gave Ombu a penalty, 62 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jeremias Ugaitz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. 2-4. Ombu's Eusebio Cordarrel was substituted for Godfredo Mendez. 67 minutes in the game Primitivo Andino did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Daniel Zorita. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Agustin Rossi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Felix Montenegro hit a great ball. Agustin Rossi made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Agustin Rossi came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Felix Montenegro. But to his dismay, Felix Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. Julio Vera didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Ombu's Frans Lundgren shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-5 in the ordered_time% minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agustin Rossi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frans Lundgren scored 4-5 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Agustin Rossi in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
