Claudiu Bădulescu started the match with the kick off. Iulian Strungă kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. If Claudiu Bădulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the match, -BZF- Valea Buzăului's goal looked a bit too open when Dacian Patrichi came free, but Manole Tăcutu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rovine Craiova's Cezar Ghinescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudiu Bădulescu in the 15th minute of play. Leontin Stegaru hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Silviu Stoian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leontin Stegaru during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Silviu Stoian scored 0-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manole Tăcutu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Emanuel Ioanițiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matei Nasta's late challenge caught a -BZF- Valea Buzăului's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matei Nasta helped the player get up and apologised. After 34 played minutes Rovine Craiova got a freekick which was hit by Matei Nasta. In the 37th minute Virgil Vergulescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manole Tăcutu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Rovine Craiova getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Sandu Munteanu hit a great ball. -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Manole Tăcutu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgil Vergulescu in the 43rd minute of play. Petre Ştiopul hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The supporters of Rovine Craiova booed when -BZF- Valea Buzăului was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costică Stoleru didn't get a good kick on the ball. The -BZF- Valea Buzăului players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rovine Craiova were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Virgil Vergulescu made the kick off in the second half. Manole Tăcutu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Virgil Vergulescu's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. The supporters of Rovine Craiova booed when -BZF- Valea Buzăului was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudiu Bădulescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute, Matei Nasta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rovine Craiova made a substitution. Matei Comișel replaced Silviu Stoian. In the 57th minute of the match Sabin Cândroveanu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cezar Ghinescu skillfully saved the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matei Comișel in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manole Tăcutu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 66thth minute of the game Matei Comișel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Manole Tăcutu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 67th minute, Iulian Strungă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 70 minutes, Petre Ştiopul mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rovine Craiova and the -BZF- Valea Buzăului players grew even worse after the yellow card. 80 minutes into the match, Matei Comișel notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Manole Tăcutu. Manole Tăcutu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Claudiu Bădulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Cezar Ghinescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Emanuel Ioanițiu managed to get in a good position for a shot. -BZF- Valea Buzăului's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Ioanițiu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cezar Ghinescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Manole Tăcutu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matei Comișel went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score.

Rovine Craiova's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
