The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. C o n f i a n ç a - SE's Diguinho Carioca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Levandowsky in the 4th minute of play. A collision led to C o n f i a n ç a - SE getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Ernesto Monteiro hit a great ball. Cui Xiang Zhen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Diguinho Carioca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, C o n f i a n ç a - SE's goal looked a bit too open when João Augusto Barral came free, but Diguinho Carioca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jimmy Lundin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clayton Pedron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute Jeremias Maia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimmy Lundin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to C o n f i a n ç a - SE getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Songur Ersalmış hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Levandowsky in the 20th minute of play forced C o n f i a n ç a - SE's goalkeeper Diguinho Carioca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21stth minute of the game Robert Levandowsky who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C o n f i a n ç a - SE's Diguinho Carioca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robert Levandowsky in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diguinho Carioca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Skull Sport F.C's Rony de Senna got a free kick in the 40th minute. After 41 played minutes, C o n f i a n ç a - SE's Charles Capixaba shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jimmy Lundin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C o n f i a n ç a - SE reached it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Clayton Pedron was the one to do the kick off. If Cui Xiang Zhen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of C o n f i a n ç a - SE booed when Skull Sport F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rony de Senna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diguinho Carioca made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Robert Levandowsky sent off a good shot on target. In the 71st minute, Raimundo da Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute, Charles Capixaba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 74 minutes into the match, C o n f i a n ç a - SE's goal looked a bit too open when Cui Xiang Zhen came free, but Diguinho Carioca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Yao Jun Chang was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Skull Sport F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C o n f i a n ç a - SE the free kick. After a rather tough play, Skull Sport F.C's Yao Jun Chang got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Jimmy Lundin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeremias Maia's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Skull Sport F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Clayton Pedron came free, but Jimmy Lundin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
