Thomás Toscano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thomás Toscano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boguslaw Makarewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mestre GG's zone, Daniel Sousa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remigiusz Paciuszko came out of the goal and Daniel Sousa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mestre GG's Remigiusz Paciuszko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hicham Al Azka in the 13th minute of play. Remigiusz Paciuszko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Sousa in the 16th minute of play. A collision led to Mestre GG getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Ximenes Murieta hit a great ball. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mestre GG's goalkeeper Remigiusz Paciuszko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Capibaribe Stars's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wilton Fontes in the 21st minute. Capibaribe Stars's Wilton Fontes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Remigiusz Paciuszko in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Remigiusz Paciuszko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Sousa in the 26th minute of the match. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mestre GG's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Wilton Fontes was slow to take the kick. During this time Capibaribe Stars's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Capibaribe Stars's corner Wilton Fontes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Remigiusz Paciuszko quite easily take care of the ball. With an all-out effort, Mestre GG's Thomás Toscano threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Boguslaw Makarewicz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 35 minutes into the match, Capibaribe Stars's goalkeeper Thomás Toscano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benson Beverley. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benson Beverley in the 36th minute of play forced Capibaribe Stars's goalkeeper Thomás Toscano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Daniel Sousa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Remigiusz Paciuszko was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sílvio Luiz Severo during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sílvio Luiz Severo kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 45th minute of the match Wilton Fontes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Remigiusz Paciuszko skillfully saved the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Robinho Urbano made the kick off in the second half. Thomás Toscano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benson Beverley in the 53rd minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Mestre GG's goal looked a bit too open when Robinho Urbano came free, but Remigiusz Paciuszko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robinho Urbano in the 60th minute of play forced Mestre GG's goalkeeper Remigiusz Paciuszko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorginho Garcia in the 66th minute of play forced Capibaribe Stars's goalkeeper Thomás Toscano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Remigiusz Paciuszko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robinho Urbano, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Remigiusz Paciuszko came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Capibaribe Stars's Robinho Urbano. But to his dismay, Robinho Urbano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 72 minutes into the match, Mestre GG's goalkeeper Remigiusz Paciuszko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robinho Urbano. Thomás Toscano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boguslaw Makarewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Ximenes Murieta in the 78th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Capibaribe Stars's Albino Gaskon. Thomás Toscano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorginho Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Thomás Toscano came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Mestre GG's Jorginho Garcia. But to his dismay, Jorginho Garcia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Thomás Toscano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Boguslaw Makarewicz went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The Capibaribe Stars players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
