Bene Animatus's players were relieved. 35 minutes into the match, Bene Animatus's goal looked a bit too open when Edu Carvalho came free, but Juvenal Talló reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hansjörg Wastl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Hooker, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Juvenal Talló made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Henrique Borges sent off a good shot on target. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Jardel Velloso made the kick off in the second half. If Valdemar Tepedino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Juvenal Talló made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdemar Tepedino in the 52nd minute of play. With a little luck, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Hansjörg Wastl got control of the ball when Jardel Velloso tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 69 played minutes Bene Animatus got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Fonseca. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Yan Schmidt managed to work through Bene Animatus's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Yan Schmidt dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 76th minute Luís Fabiano Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal Talló saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Bene Animatus's goal looked a bit too open when Yan Schmidt came free, but Juvenal Talló reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hansjörg Wastl made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Jardel Velloso sent off a good shot on target. In the 85th minute, Yan Schmidt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juvenal Talló was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. If Jardel Velloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bene Animatus's Juvenal Talló played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yan Schmidt in the 92nd minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, Yan Schmidt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Juvenal Talló was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Many of Bene Animatus's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Bene Animatus may have spent more time on the ball, but Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
