In the 6th match minute, MarquinhosEC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mário Fernandes to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute Well-Well Waack shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zézinho Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, MarquinhosEC's goal looked a bit too open when Well-Well Waack came free, but Zézinho Simões reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by MarquinhosEC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Benito Lain was slow to take the kick. During this time Izaltina FAD's players had a chance to rest. Izaltina FAD's Manuel Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro do Valle in the 16th minute of play. In the 22nd minute MarquinhosEC were awarded a corner. Florin Susara went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Florin Susara got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Manuel Alves quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Manuel Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Curt Montes in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th minute MarquinhosEC were awarded a corner. Florin Susara went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Florin Susara almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Izaltina FAD's Manuel Alves did a great save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alessandro do Valle in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Alves saved Izaltina FAD from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matías Mendes in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zézinho Simões prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 26 minutes, Matías Mendes made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. MarquinhosEC's Zézinho Simões tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Curt Montes came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the MarquinhosEC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Curt Montes couldn't finish the play. In the 31st match minute, MarquinhosEC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteve Quinto to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Izaltina FAD getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Well-Well Waack hit a great ball. Zézinho Simões showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Well-Well Waack in the 36th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Izaltina FAD made a substitution. William Magalhães replaced Patrik Gribfeldt. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alessandro do Valle stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee showed Matías Mendes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 91 minutes, Mário Fernandes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MarquinhosEC and the Izaltina FAD players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 91 played minutes MarquinhosEC got a freekick which was hit by Mário Fernandes. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Perivaldo Guimarães in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manuel Alves prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
