In the 6th minute of the match Village Saint Charles FRC got a corner. Colombia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Llorienzo Varela ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Village Saint Charles FRC's Bernt Blomqvist got a free kick in the 7th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Hector Herensuge notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Colombia booed when Village Saint Charles FRC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Llorienzo Varela didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Axel Montenegro notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Village Saint Charles FRC's Desiderio Montel. Desiderio Montel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Desiderio Montel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 19th minute of the match. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Village Saint Charles FRC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Axel Montenegro was slow to take the kick. During this time Colombia's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Village Saint Charles FRC's goalie and right to Santino Seco. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Village Saint Charles FRC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Montenegro in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Desiderio Montel saved Village Saint Charles FRC from getting behind. Desiderio Montel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Axel Montenegro went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 45 minutes into the match, Village Saint Charles FRC's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Desiderio Montel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute, Hector Herensuge reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pedro Manzanares. The goal made the score 2-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pál Pintér stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Hector Herensuge managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Village Saint Charles FRC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector Herensuge was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Pascual Carballar hit a great ball. In the 61stth minute of the game Pál Pintér who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ignacio Mastache could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Desiderio Montel made a huge save. Village Saint Charles FRC's Hector Herensuge managed to work through Colombia's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Hector Herensuge dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Village Saint Charles FRC made a substitution. Pedro Luiz da Rocha replaced 严傲飞. Abram Secada's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Desiderio Montel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Desiderio Montel acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 90th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Santino Seco. Ignacio Mastache who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Desiderio Montel when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
