Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cornelio Garaile in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 16 minutes into the match, Tiburones Pacufantásticos's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Hector Pedroso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Pedroso having to interfere.
