Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Remigio Finlay kicked off to start the match. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remigio Finlay in the 3rd minute of play. AA GUARULHOS were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after Chile's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jacobo Porfirio took the corner. The corner led AA GUARULHOS's Jacobo Porfirio to fire away a dangerous shot which Thiago Pliego despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Carlinhos Freitas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Remigio Finlay. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remigio Finlay, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute, Erasmo Monteiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Remigio Finlay came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Remigio Finlay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Carlinhos Freitas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 44th match minute, AA GUARULHOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nilton Ramalho to maneuver through the defense. Lance Cabezas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mariano Lacasa to strike the kick off in the second half. Carlinhos Freitas came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. AA GUARULHOS's Carlinhos Freitas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 59th minute of play. If Remigio Finlay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 60 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Remigio Finlay came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lance Cabezas in the 64th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th match minute, AA GUARULHOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo Monteiro to maneuver through the defense. Erasmo Monteiro made in the 67th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Nilton Ramalho. 71 minutes into the game, Mariano Lacasa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Carlinhos Freitas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 75 minutes into the match, AA GUARULHOS's Remigio Finlay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. AA GUARULHOS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jacobo Porfirio in the 76th minute. After taking down the ball on AA GUARULHOS's corner Jacobo Porfirio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Thiago Pliego quite easily take care of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orlando Casaus got free with Carlinhos Freitas in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Remigio Finlay came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the AA GUARULHOS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Remigio Finlay couldn't finish the play. AA GUARULHOS's Luís Paulo Catarinense was substituted for Jacobo Porfirio. Remigio Finlay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigio Finlay in the 90th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Remigio Finlay came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 97 minutes, Lance Cabezas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AA GUARULHOS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lance Cabezas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Chile had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
