Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dario Hussain took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ruperto Rainerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 4 minutes had been played when some careless play by Leon Platense's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Lautaro Mancebo was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Ruperto Rainerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 8th minute of play. Ruperto Rainerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute Hernán Leandro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Leon Platense's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Ruperto Rainerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dario Hussain hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Ruperto Rainerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 25th minute of the match. In the 28th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Rainerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hernán Leandro did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Dante Lacasa 30 minutes into the match. Ruperto Rainerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Gaafar Carrillo hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After 40 minutes of play, Mexico's Joel Gaona made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ruperto Rainerio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hernán Leandro took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Rainerio having to interfere. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Ruperto Rainerio made a huge save. Ruperto Rainerio was a little too slow when Lautaro Mancebo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 2-2. Ruperto Rainerio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 56th minute. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Leon Platense! In the 61st minute there was a penalty for Mexico. Joel Gaona stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ruperto Rainerio. 2-3. Leon Platense's Ruperto Rainerio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Leon Platense from getting a goal against them. In the 68th of the match, Joel Gaona tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Ruperto Rainerio got in the way and made a wonderful save. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 76 minutes into the match, Leon Platense's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Ruperto Rainerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernán Leandro in the 77th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Facundo Cadaval hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute, Leon Platense's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alberto Tafalla fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. João Francisco Vidal hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Joel Gaona's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Ruperto Rainerio on his right side and into the goal. 92 minutes into the game it was 2-4. Ruperto Rainerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 95th minute of the match. Mexico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
