Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Roman Gdaniec made the kick off which started today's match. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Gdaniec in the 6th minute of play. When Berkay Yetiş came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Girona FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Berkay Yetiş couldn't finish the play. Lautaro Mancebo took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lastur Murcia. Lastur Murcia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A hard shot 15 in the game by Berkay Yetiş from a close distance when the talented Dante Lacasa managed to make a qualified save. Mexico's players were relieved. Berkay Yetişs short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Dante Lacasa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 17th minute, David Palau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Lautaro Mancebo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lastur Murcia quite easily take care of the ball. After 22 minutes Mexico's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roman Gdaniec who took care of the corner kick. Lastur Murcia came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Joel Gaona. But to his dismay, Joel Gaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Lastur Murcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Girona FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Berkay Yetiş could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 36 minutes, Gaizkine Babia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Girona FC and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gaizkine Babia kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Roman Gdaniec blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dante Lacasa having to make a save. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Gdaniec in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half Mexico were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

61 minutes into the match, Girona FC's goalkeeper Lastur Murcia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 67th match minute, Girona FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Gonçalves to maneuver through the defense. After 71 minutes, Macos Graciani mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mexico and the Girona FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Macos Graciani hit a great ball. Cristo Quintero kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After 74 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Mancebo. Joel Gaona kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Lastur Murcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Girona FC made a substitution. Kepa Molina replaced Joaquim Lustosa. Girona FC's Lastur Murcia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Girona FC from getting a goal against them. In the 84th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Girona FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roman Gdaniec's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Girona FC made a substitution. Walme Carballido replaced Alfonso De Pedro. Roman Gdaniec placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Gdaniec in the 98th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
