The supporters of Monteagudo booed when Esquadrão Lusitano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Cigaran didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by 狄夕远 in the 22nd minute of play forced Monteagudo's goalkeeper Feliberto Refugio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Derman Anoia hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After 47 minutes of play, Esquadrão Lusitano's 狄夕远 made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Feliberto Refugio was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Esquadrão Lusitano were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Rui Sá showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-12. In the 95th minute, Esquadrão Lusitano's Walter Texier dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-13. When the match was over Esquadrão Lusitano could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Monteagudo throughout the match.
