With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristiano Cigaran in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Virgilio Pacifico saved Patricio Rey Futbol Club from getting behind. A collision led to Esquadrão Lusitano getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Rui Sá hit a great ball. When Narciso Sindo came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Patricio Rey Futbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Narciso Sindo couldn't finish the play. 10 minutes into the match, Patricio Rey Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Valdo Passos came free, but Virgilio Pacifico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Esquadrão Lusitano's goalkeeper Vítor Damas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Narciso Sindo. Virgilio Pacifico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Cigaran in the 15th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Rui Sá had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Virgilio Pacifico. Patricio Rey Futbol Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rui Sá was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Narciso Sindo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Damas having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Patricio Rey Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Sá came free, but Virgilio Pacifico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vítor Damas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Sindo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Narciso Sindo got in the 35th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Vítor Damas handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Esquadrão Lusitano's Vítor Damas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Blanco in the 36th minute of play. Virgilio Pacifico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Sá in the 37th minute of the match. Vítor Damas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldo Blanco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Patricio Rey Futbol Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Esquadrão Lusitano were winning 0-2.

In the 63rd minute Narciso Sindo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Damas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Patricio Rey Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Sá came free, but Virgilio Pacifico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute Aldo Blanco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Damas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on Patricio Rey Futbol Club's corner Orlando Cordeara fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vítor Damas quite easily take care of the ball. Esquadrão Lusitano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Patricio Rey Futbol Club the free kick. The supporters of Patricio Rey Futbol Club booed when Esquadrão Lusitano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filomeno Esiquio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vítor Damas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Sindo in the 78th minute of the match. In the 80th minute Patricio Rey Futbol Club were awarded a corner. Orlando Cordeara went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Orlando Cordeara almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Esquadrão Lusitano's Vítor Damas did a great save. In the 87th minute Rui Sá shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Pacifico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Rui Sá dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Virgilio Pacifico, 0-3. The Patricio Rey Futbol Club fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Esquadrão Lusitano were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
