In the 5th minute, Esquadrão Lusitano's Tạ Bom dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After a rather tough play, FC South Park's Urban Östensson got a free kick in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Sá in the 11th minute of play forced FC South Park's goalkeeper Henning Lundhberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristiano Cigaran in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henning Lundhberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Esquadrão Lusitano fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Esquadrão Lusitano's Rui Sá looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Henning Lundhberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Sá in the 16th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Rui Sá shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henning Lundhberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristiano Cigaran came free with the goalkeeper in the 20th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Henning Lundhberg could save by the left post. Henning Lundhberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Sá, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. A collision led to FC South Park getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Urban Östensson hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the match, FC South Park's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Sá came free, but Henning Lundhberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 29 minutes FC South Park's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tạ Bom who took care of the corner kick. Henning Lundhberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Sá in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute of the match, Derman Anoia got a very nice opportunity to score, but Henning Lundhberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 33 played minutes Esquadrão Lusitano got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Abalos. Brian Bergfelt took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vítor Damas. Esquadrão Lusitano's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 36thth minute of the game Brian Bergfelt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Esquadrão Lusitano's Vítor Damas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, FC South Park's Henning Lundhberg got control of the ball when Cristiano Cigaran tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristiano Cigaran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tommy Ahlgren's late challenge caught a Esquadrão Lusitano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tommy Ahlgren helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC South Park getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Tommy Ahlgren hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Rui Sá managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esquadrão Lusitano's supporters rose to their feet, but Rui Sá was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henning Lundhberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Henning Lundhberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Sá in the 46th minute of play. Cristiano Cigaran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Henning Lundhberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rui Sá made a kick off. In the 58th minute, Rui Sá left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Esquadrão Lusitano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 64th minute Valdo Passos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henning Lundhberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Esquadrão Lusitano booed when FC South Park was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urban Östensson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vítor Damas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calle Lind in the 80th minute of the match. Henning Lundhberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Sá in the 82nd minute of play. FC South Park's Henning Lundhberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdo Passos in the 83rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sebastian Arenius during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 84th match minute, FC South Park was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Arenius to maneuver through the defense. When Cristiano Cigaran came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Esquadrão Lusitano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristiano Cigaran couldn't finish the play. There was no doubt that Esquadrão Lusitano were the better team. Esquadrão Lusitano's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
