The tension between the Monteagudo and the bullfinches players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Monteagudo getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Martin Cresencio hit a great ball. Olimpiu Pantiș struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Feliberto Refugio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for bullfinches. If Costică Glăvan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Feliberto Refugio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Costică Glăvan went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Olimpiu Pantiș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliberto Refugio having to interfere. Luis Remir hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Liviu Zubaşcu in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Feliberto Refugio saved Monteagudo from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Liviu Zubaşcu in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Feliberto Refugio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Costică Glăvan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Feliberto Refugio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Liviu Zubaşcu sped through Monteagudo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Feliberto Refugio. A collision led to bullfinches getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Eusebiu Surdilă hit a great ball. In the 36th minute, Eusebiu Surdilă ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Feliberto Refugio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. After some careless play in the Monteagudo defense, Liviu Zubaşcu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Feliberto Refugio. The Monteagudo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Feliberto Refugio should have stopped the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Liviu Zubaşcu to make the kick off. The supporters of bullfinches booed when Monteagudo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Egun didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Costică Glăvan managed to get in a good position for a shot. bullfinches's supporters rose to their feet, but Costică Glăvan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Feliberto Refugio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When bullfinches's Liviu Zubaşcu in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Monteagudo's goalie prevented a goal. In the last second Feliberto Refugio throw himself and got hold of the ball when Liviu Zubaşcu in the 66thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After a rather tough play, bullfinches's Petru Văidianu got a free kick in the 69th minute. If Marciano Cordarell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute, Petru Văidianu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Costică Glăvan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliberto Refugio having to interfere. Luis Remir kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. bullfinches played a much better game than Monteagudo and deserved their victory. The Monteagudo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
