Alfonso Eguen made in the 12th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Tobias Xacintu. Punk Fiction's Amado Jordão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnino Romo in the 14th minute of play. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tobias Xacintu in the 16th minute. After taking down the ball on ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s corner Luis Frisco fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Amado Jordão quite easily take care of the ball. In the 26th minute Mats Liljeström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amado Jordão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saturnino Romo in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amado Jordão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Gilberto Nayely managed to get in a good position for a shot. Punk Fiction's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilberto Nayely was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oliverio Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Gilberto Nayely took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Oliverio Kahn to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Punk Fiction booed when ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dedê Donatello didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Punk Fiction's Eleuterio Gagriel got a free kick in the 47th minute. In the 48th minute Tobias Xacintu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amado Jordão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilberto Nayely to strike the kick off in the second half. Jerzy Marchefka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Amado Jordão made a huge save. After 85 minutes of play, Punk Fiction's Gilberto Nayely made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oliverio Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Amado Jordão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Frisco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jerzy Marchefka's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amado Jordão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play.
