Amado Jordão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Romo in the 31st minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Dedê Donatello in the 33rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Punk Fiction's Silvio Feliz. Evelio Federigo made in the 34th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Luis Frisco. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saturnino Romo in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amado Jordão saved Punk Fiction from getting behind. After 40 played minutes Punk Fiction got a freekick which was hit by Mario Egoitz. 43 minutes into the match, ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Nayely came free, but Oliverio Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Oliverio Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Nayely in the 45th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Saturnino Romo to strike the kick off in the second half. Punk Fiction's Silvio Feliz managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Humberto Cordera in the 57 minute of the game. Oliverio Kahn was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Gilberto Nayely capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gilberto Nayely really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Oliverio Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilberto Nayely in the 66th minute.
