In the 33rdth minute of the game Peter Crouch who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Oliverio Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Peter Crouch took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oliverio Kahn. Oliverio Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Qin Fan Sheng didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Saturnino Romo went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The ZORZAL01 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ were winning 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Saturnino Romo to make the kick off. A throw-in in the 61st minute of the game was made by Pavel Nedvěd with Peter Crouch as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Jerzy Marchefka was substituted for Saturnino Romo. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Aldo Cresconio was substituted for Mats Liljeström. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ made a substitution. ZORZAL01's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peter Crouch was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Qin Fan Sheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerzy Marchefka in the 93rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Luis Frisco got a free kick in the 94th minute. 95 minutes into the match, ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Jerzy Marchefka sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Qin Fan Sheng narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match was over ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ZORZAL01 throughout the match.
