Saturnino Romo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amado Jordão having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saturnino Romo got free with Amado Jordão in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Oliverio Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Nayely in the 18th minute of the match. After 20 played minutes Punk Fiction got a freekick which was hit by Saturnino Amor. With his leg Amado Jordão managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Saturnino Romo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Amado Jordão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saturnino Romo in the 25th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Benedito Camargo in the 26th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Punk Fiction's Edelmiro Olivar. In the 35th minute Saturnino Romo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amado Jordão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saturnino Romo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Amado Jordão came out and tried to block the shot, but Saturnino Romo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 37th minute. Silvio Feliz got a throw-in 40 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Gustavo López. Silvio Feliz's late challenge caught a ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvio Feliz helped the player get up and apologised. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gilberto Nayely made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Saturnino Romo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amado Jordão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oliverio Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilberto Nayely in the 54th minute. Punk Fiction's Abelardo Tancredo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Joel Carli, made in the 59th minute of the game. If Gilberto Nayely had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gilberto Nayely could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Oliverio Kahn made a huge save. 65 minutes into the match, Punk Fiction's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnino Romo came free, but Amado Jordão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saturnino Romo took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amado Jordão. Amado Jordão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jerzy Marchefka in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amado Jordão saved Punk Fiction from getting behind. In the 74thth minute of the game Jerzy Marchefka who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Punk Fiction's Amado Jordão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 77th minute Jerzy Marchefka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amado Jordão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Punk Fiction's Amado Jordão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerzy Marchefka in the 81st minute of play. Aldo Cresconio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Jordão having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Jerzy Marchefka left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ had played much better football throughout.
