In the 5th match minute, Plebeyos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Tuzzio to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of ZORZAL01 booed when Plebeyos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulino Diegotxe didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pavel Nedvěd in the 7th minute of play forced Plebeyos's goalkeeper Arsenio Cordeal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Plebeyos's goalkeeper Arsenio Cordeal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 28 played minutes Plebeyos got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Fe. Peter Crouch could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Arsenio Cordeal made a huge save. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind ZORZAL01's goalkeeper Qin Fan Sheng, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guilherme Basso in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Qin Fan Sheng saved ZORZAL01 from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Guilherme Basso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Plebeyos's supporters rose to their feet, but Guilherme Basso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Qin Fan Sheng breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Guilherme Basso got free with Qin Fan Sheng in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 58 minutes into the game, Clemente Fe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Plebeyos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ZORZAL01 the free kick. ZORZAL01's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pavel Nedvěd in the 62nd minute. After taking down the ball on ZORZAL01's corner Pavel Nedvěd fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arsenio Cordeal quite easily take care of the ball. ZORZAL01's Qin Fan Sheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guilherme Basso in the 64th minute of play. Eduardo Tuzzio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Qin Fan Sheng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Guilherme Basso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Qin Fan Sheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guilherme Basso in the 73rd minute of play. Emil Kostadinov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Qin Fan Sheng having to interfere. Plebeyos's Arsenio Cordeal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Crouch in the 90th minute of play. ZORZAL01's Natan Vercalsteren managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Paulino Diegotxe in the 92 minute of the game.
