Amado Jordão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guilherme Basso in the 10th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Saturnino Amor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clemente Fe hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute of the match Punk Fiction got a corner. Plebeyos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eleuterio Gagriel ran over to the corner to take the kick. 31 minutes into the game, Gilberto Nayely cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Arsenio Cordeal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Gilberto Nayely managed to get in a good position for a shot. Punk Fiction's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilberto Nayely was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arsenio Cordeal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amado Jordão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guilherme Basso in the 40th minute of the match. Plebeyos's Arsenio Cordeal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Plebeyos from getting a goal against them. In the 46th minute of the game Alfonso Eguen made a throw-in which Gilberto Nayely played forward. After having played for 48 minutes, Gilberto Nayely managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Punk Fiction's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilberto Nayely was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Guilherme Basso made the kick off in the second half. In the 58th match minute, Punk Fiction was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Tancredo to maneuver through the defense. Emil Kostadinov was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 59th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Gilberto Nayely's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arsenio Cordeal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. After 68 played minutes Plebeyos got a freekick which was hit by Waldemar Mangueira. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guilherme Basso in the 71st minute of play forced Punk Fiction's goalkeeper Amado Jordão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amado Jordão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guilherme Basso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edelmiro Olivar in the 79th minute of play forced Plebeyos's goalkeeper Arsenio Cordeal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Plebeyos's Gilberto Gizon was substituted for Enzo Kusko. After a rather tough play, Plebeyos's Clemente Fe got a free kick in the 85th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guilherme Basso in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amado Jordão saved Punk Fiction from getting behind.
