The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ermegildo Horado came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's Akakios Kountouratzis. But to his dismay, Akakios Kountouratzis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The throw-in from Evan McMahon in the 11th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by CAI NEUQUEN's Anacleto Unax. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's goalkeeper Baykan Erincer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 15 minutes into the game, CAI NEUQUEN's Cipriano Pasqual nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baykan Erincer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Baykan Erincer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cipriano Pasqual's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Ermegildo Horado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garth Burrell in the 20th minute of the match. Cipriano Pasqual scored 2-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baykan Erincer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Baykan Erincer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Pasqual, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 31st minute Cipriano Pasqual shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baykan Erincer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CAI NEUQUEN's Raul Heriberto was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Baykan Erincer in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ermegildo Horado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Garth Burrell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the game, DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's Akakios Kountouratzis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ermegildo Horado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 40th minute Cipriano Pasqual shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baykan Erincer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cipriano Pasqual sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cipriano Pasqual made a kick off. When DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's Akakios Kountouratzis in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CAI NEUQUEN's goalie prevented a goal. CAI NEUQUEN's Ermegildo Horado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kazimierz Traczewski in the 58th minute of play. DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after CAI NEUQUEN's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Erik Huang took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Pasqual in the 62nd minute of play forced DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's goalkeeper Baykan Erincer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kazimierz Traczewski got free with Ermegildo Horado in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Baykan Erincer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cipriano Pasqual's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Ermegildo Horado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kazimierz Traczewski in the 78th minute of play. After 82 minutes of play, CAI NEUQUEN's Cipriano Pasqual made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baykan Erincer was left in no man's land by his defense there! DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's Khairil Swee was substituted for Joey Tribbiani. DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's Daron Conroy was substituted for Nelson Oakley. DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because CAI NEUQUEN had won, even though DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO had held more of the ball.
