The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the match, Punk Fiction's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Firmin came free, but Amado Jordão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Punk Fiction's zone, Anselmo Firmin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amado Jordão came out of the goal and Anselmo Firmin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart.
