The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A sloppy throw-in by Jeremias Felo in the 11th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Plebeyos's Clemente Fe. The crowd rose to their feet as Yin Wei Yi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arsenio Cordeal. That made the score 1-1 in the 15 minute of play. Plebeyos's Clemente Fe managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jeremias Felo in the 17 minute of the game. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's goalkeeper Benedicto Ireno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 20th minute Plebeyos were awarded a corner. Emil Kostadinov went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's goalie and right to Kåre Uter. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. If Guilherme Basso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeremias Felo kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Kåre Uter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yin Wei Yi got free with Arsenio Cordeal in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pablo Innocenzio in the 35th minute. Benedicto Ireno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guilherme Basso's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. After a rather tough play, C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Igor Montes got a free kick in the 44th minute. The audience was convinced that Guilherme Basso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benedicto Ireno was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Cecilio Eli was substituted for Pablo Innocenzio. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guilherme Basso to make the kick off. In the 55th minute Yin Wei Yi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arsenio Cordeal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Guilherme Basso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benedicto Ireno was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guilherme Basso in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benedicto Ireno saved C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ from getting behind. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Márk Stephen was substituted for Yin Wei Yi. In the 71st minute of the match Plebeyos got a corner. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emil Kostadinov ran over to the corner to take the kick. Benedicto Ireno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guilherme Basso, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. If Márk Stephen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 78 minutes into the match, Plebeyos's goal looked a bit too open when Márk Stephen came free, but Arsenio Cordeal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute Guilherme Basso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Ireno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Márk Stephen put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Arsenio Cordeal. Plebeyos were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
