Vincent Aalberts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel-Omar Batista in the 17th minute of play. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ★Independiente Ψ★! After a long run with the ball, Vivaldo Trancoso did a trick in the 21st minute in front of ★Independiente Ψ★'s goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. Adan Aresti hit a great ball. Hélder Fonseca might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maximiliano Iigo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hélder Fonseca ran back to his position shaking his head. Hélder Fonseca's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Maximiliano Iigo firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 38th minute, Gabriel-Omar Batista ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vincent Aalberts was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Hélder Fonseca who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Maximiliano Iigo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hélder Fonseca to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ's zone, Lei Feng Ying stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vincent Aalberts came out of the goal and Lei Feng Ying tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ's Albert Einstein got a free kick in the 93rd minute. After 94 played minutes CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Čeněk Vetešník. Adan Aresti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
