After a rather tough play, Unidad de Matanza's Máximo Kirchner got a free kick in the 8th minute. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Oliverio Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Máximo Kirchner in the 10th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saturnino Romo in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Venancio Cristofol saved Unidad de Matanza from getting behind. Michal Stehno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliverio Kahn having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saturnino Romo in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Venancio Cristofol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Oliverio Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Grøtterud in the 19th minute of play. Venancio Cristofol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Xacintu in the 26th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s goal looked a bit too open when Martin Grøtterud came free, but Oliverio Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Unidad de Matanza booed when ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Frisco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 45 minutes, Michal Stehno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Unidad de Matanza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michal Stehno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 48th minute Máximo Kirchner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliverio Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Saturnino Romo made a kick off. Oliverio Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michal Stehno in the 52nd minute of the match. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Oliverio Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Máximo Kirchner in the 55th minute of play. Saturnino Romo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. Oliverio Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Unidad de Matanza. Dedê Donatello made in the 85th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Tobias Xacintu. Jerzy Marchefka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Venancio Cristofol made a huge save. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Unidad de Matanza players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
