Amado Jordão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Crouch in the 42nd minute of play. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Punk Fiction's goalkeeper Amado Jordão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A sloppy throw-in by Silvio Feliz in the 47th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ZORZAL01's Pavel Nedvěd. The supporters of ZORZAL01 booed when Punk Fiction was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elpidio Chap didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Peter Crouch made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Punk Fiction getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. In the 84th minute, Alfonso Eguen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute, Peter Crouch left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ZORZAL01 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. With 92 minutes on the clock, Edelmiro Olivar commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Amado Jordão had in the 94thth minute some difficulties stopping Peter Crouch's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The supporters of ZORZAL01 booed when Punk Fiction was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo López didn't get a good kick on the ball. ZORZAL01's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
