Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Wallace FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Aztore kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wallace FC's goalie prevented a goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Wallace FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 18th minute. Penalty! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Elia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bruno Elia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 26th minute of play. Venezuela's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomas Illescas in the 27th minute. Bruno Elia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 36th minute. 38 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Elia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 42nd minute, Erasmo Turi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Venezuela were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Venezuela's attentive Patricio Costa managed to snatch the ball when Erasmo Turi made a throw-in in the 54th minute of the game. 59 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bruno Elia. Wallace FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Illescas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 61st match minute, Wallace FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benicio Turi to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Elia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Lorien in the 71st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Bruno Elia in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Dominix in the 76th minute of play. After 77th play minutes Damian Dominix shot 1-3, a short shot which went by Jonathan Ferrant and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 88th minute, Ernesto Lorien hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Erasmo Turi fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wallace FC's protests and gave Erasmo Turi a yellow card for diving instead. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Bruno Elia made a huge save. The Venezuela supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Venezuela would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
