The -IOG- Instruments of God fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 龙夕兴 should have stopped the shot. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adrian Rosén's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adrian Rosén helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd match minute, -IOG- Instruments of God was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Rosén to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than -IOG- Instruments of God throughout the match.
