Enrique Belo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 7th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Tadeusz Dziechciowski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lautaro Navarro. That made the score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. Napoleon Mleczewski's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Napoleon Mleczewski helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Honduras booed when Sakura Storm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Napoleon Mleczewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luca Espinar took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enrique Belo. The throw-in from Salamon Barrientos in the 30th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Valentín Carvallo. Enrique Belo came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Honduras's Edmundo Espiga. But to his dismay, Edmundo Espiga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The supporters of Honduras booed when Sakura Storm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Ourente didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enrique Belo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 35th minute of play. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeusz Dziechciowski in the 41st minute of play. Enrique Belo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Sakura Storm's Enrique Belo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Espinar in the 46th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmundo Espiga was the one to do the kick off. Tadeusz Dziechciowski struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sakura Storm. In the 59th minute, Sebastian Villa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Enrique Belo made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Sebastian Villa sent off a good shot on target. After 66 minutes, Gervasio Zumista mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sakura Storm and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. Edmundo Espiga's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Enrique Belo - 2-3 was put on the score board in the 68th minute. Edmundo Espiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Enrique Belo made a huge save. In the 75th minute of the match Honduras got a corner. Sakura Storm's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edmundo Espiga ran over to the corner to take the kick. 78 minutes into the game, Sebastian Villa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Enrique Belo. Sebastian Villa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. Edmundo Espiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Enrique Belo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enrique Belo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enrique Belo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 90th minute of the match. The supporters of Honduras booed when Sakura Storm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Ourente didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Sakura Storm fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Honduras were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
