Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Galaxy Team U18 the free kick. After 14 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Juan Rubio. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aureliusz Mietus went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. A sloppy throw-in by Hugo Ferrant in the 20th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Galaxy Team U18's Fryderyk Wolicki. Leonard Furgat was extremely unlucky when he, in the 20th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Furgat in the 25th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Hugo Ferrant was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 58th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Noboa to maneuver through the defense. Eliseo Noboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aureliusz Mietus scored 4-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 78 minutes, Lautaro Puig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Puig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Galaxy Team U18 made a substitution. Damian Malewicki replaced Leonard Furgat. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Eliseo Noboa took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Lucjan Gierlach to make any attempt to save it. After 87 played minutes Galaxy Team U18 got a freekick which was hit by Wasyl Dubiel. In the 95th minute, Kazimierz Lichucki made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1.
