The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hannes Albäck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 3rd minute of the match. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 4th minute. In the 5th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Bayern Cavnic ⚽ MM ⚽'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Gavino Urdin tried to sneak it across the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Mexico's Joel Gaona sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hannes Albäck narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hannes Albäck came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Joel Gaona. But to his dismay, Joel Gaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Renos Papageorgiou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dante Lacasa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gavino Urdin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 19 minute of play. Joel Gaona blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hannes Albäck having to make a save. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavino Urdin in the 26th minute of play. In the 31st minute Renos Papageorgiou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hannes Albäck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Renos Papageorgiou got free with Dante Lacasa in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Renos Papageorgiou sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 37th minute of play forced Bayern Cavnic ⚽ MM ⚽'s goalkeeper Hannes Albäck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Gavino Urdin came free with the goalkeeper in the 41st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dante Lacasa could save by the left post. In the 45th minute, Cosmin Urdăreanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Gavino Urdin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renos Papageorgiou, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Bayern Cavnic ⚽ MM ⚽'s Oskar Skoglund was substituted for Călin Lechințan. Cosmin Urdăreanu hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Hannes Albäck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Gavino Urdin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bayern Cavnic ⚽ MM ⚽'s supporters rose to their feet, but Gavino Urdin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 81st minute, Alberto Tafalla fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 82 minutes into the match, Cristian Grozuță had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Grozuță was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 84 minutes into the match, Bayern Cavnic ⚽ MM ⚽'s goalkeeper Hannes Albäck had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oskar Skoglund in the 86th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martin Kellbom during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Mexico booed when Bayern Cavnic ⚽ MM ⚽ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Kellbom didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hannes Albäck made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. Luca Rouco charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luca Rouco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 91 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Rouco. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mexico players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bayern Cavnic ⚽ MM ⚽.
