Joshua Garrido made in the 12th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Santino Seco however managed to control. In the 14th minute, Bozhil Vaptzarov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Bozhil Vaptzarov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The throw-in from Luis Cazalla in the 20th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by U.D. Mancini's Rolando Salvatore. Bozhil Vaptzarov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. If Bozhil Vaptzarov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gonsalve Flores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Colombia's attentive Antonio Indiano managed to snatch the ball when Rolando Salvatore made a throw-in in the 35th minute of the game. Gonsalve Flores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Montenegro's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bozhil Vaptzarov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Montenegro in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gonsalve Flores saved U.D. Mancini from getting behind. Santino Seco took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gonsalve Flores. Gonsalve Flores dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bozhil Vaptzarov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 94th minute, Bozhil Vaptzarov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gonsalve Flores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Mastache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
