With an extended leg and a bit of luck Saul Erauso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Romeo Enekoitz kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Saul Erauso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 12th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Marteinn Palermo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manzanares was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. 16 minutes into the match, Atlético Unión Florida's Marteinn Palermo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 17th minute of the match Atlético Unión Florida got a corner. Colombia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Saverio Atarratze ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Atlético Unión Florida's corner Saverio Atarratze fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pedro Manzanares quite easily take care of the ball. In the 18th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Tafalla to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Venancio Musko came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Venancio Musko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Pastor Azibar sent off a good shot on target. Cristo Bilintx hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Saul Erauso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santino Seco in the 29th minute of the match. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victoriano Edwardo in the 33rd minute of play. Victoriano Edwardo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pedro Manzanares came out and tried to block the shot, but Victoriano Edwardo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saul Erauso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Atlético Unión Florida's Pastor Azibar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Cristo Bilintx hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Saul Erauso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 47th match minute, Atlético Unión Florida was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saverio Atarratze to maneuver through the defense. When Axel Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Colombia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Montenegro couldn't finish the play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abram Sarmiento was the one to do the kick off. Saul Erauso was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Axel Montenegro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Axel Montenegro really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marteinn Palermo went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Montenegro got free with Saul Erauso in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 65th minute, Abram Sarmiento reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Saul Erauso. The goal made the score 4-2. Atlético Unión Florida's Poz Maeztu was substituted for Marteinn Palermo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Montenegro got free with Saul Erauso in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Venancio Musko, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. But to his dismay, Santino Seco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. Saul Erauso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Mastache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atlético Unión Florida walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
