Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tomas Illescas made the kick off which started today's match. After a defensive mix-up in Manchester United FC's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Martini came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Martini having to interfere. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manfred Rudqvist took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 24th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. Ľubomír Timčo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 25th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Alex Chicote hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Freek Tamminga. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manfred Rudqvist in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Simão de Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Manchester United FC's Agnaldo Montenegro got a free kick in the 47th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Manchester United FC's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manfred Rudqvist to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manfred Rudqvist in the 58th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Simão de Toledo during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manfred Rudqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 68th minute. After 74 minutes of play, Manchester United FC's Ľubomír Timčo made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bruno Martini was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Tomas Illescas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tomas Illescas really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Manfred Rudqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manchester United FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Venezuela had controlled the match.
